The Suzuki DF50AV is a high-thrust outboard motor designed to provide the extra power needed for heavier boats, such as pontoon boats.

This model features Suzuki’s High Energy Rotation system. It is equipped with a larger gear case and a 2.42:1 gear ratio, which allows it to turn a bigger 14-inch propeller. This design delivers a significant increase in both forward and reverse thrust, providing powerful acceleration and superior maneuverability for heavy loads.

The DF50AV is built with a DOHC 12-valve engine and incorporates Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control System to deliver improved fuel efficiency from low speeds into the cruising range. For long-term dependability, the outboard utilizes a maintenance-free, self-adjusting timing chain.
