Most Suzuki outboards are DF models, and some DF engines are also AP versions. DF identifies Suzuki’s 4-stroke family, while AP means the engine has Suzuki Precision Control (SPC) digital fly-by-wire for smoother shifting, precise throttle, and Selective Rotation.

The DF350A features twin counter-rotating propellers that “bite” the water from opposing directions. This design increases stability, reduces steering torque, and improves acceleration—especially on heavier offshore hulls. It’s one of the most advanced propulsion systems in the 350hp class.
